The Cameroon Renaissance Movement, MRC party has launched an appeal for financial support to sustain its members arrested and locked up in a September 22nd anti-Biya protest.
In a meeting between MRC leader, Maurice Kamto and his lawyers today, they created a number of sub-committees to cater for the detained.
They include health, nutrition, finances and follow-up subcommittees.
A circular signed by Mispa Awasum, head of the management committee, they urge those in charge to show accountability for every donation they get.
The MRC says over 500 of it’s militants were arrested in the protest to oust president Biya, accusing security forces of torture and other rights violations.
