Some chiefs ofthe South West region visited the National Oil Refinery, Sonara on Wednesday June 12 to see for themselves the damage caused by the fire outbreak on May 31.
The were taken round the refinery to see the damage before holding a meeting with the General Manager Jean Paul Simo Njonou.
They promised their full support to the General Manager in helping to get the refinery back to its feet. Their visit came after the Prime Minister, Head of Government created a commission of inquiry to investigate apnd determine the cause of the fire while making proposals. The commission has thirty days to submit its report.
